Bagley Beetle, so do his bunglers Smack the Mosquito and Swat the Fly. The Beetle wants Honey and the Lowlands for himself. But the Human Ones, with their littering and carelessness, pose a threat of destruction to every Lowland home of bug and beetle alike. Goofs: Factual errors: Although "Flügelschlagen" is an actual German word it does not make any sense the way it is used throughout the movie. It's nonsense and becomes a running gag after that. Translated back to English it means "flapping wings", i.e. what birds do to fly. Only at the end of the movie, where Dan tries to explain it to his wife, it fits pretty well into the context of his words of wisdom.
